The broadcast was was a postcard depicting a sanitized version of Clifton 4th Beach, while revealing the socio-politcal conditions of the site in the written message on the back of the postcard. Through my research, I became interested in the historical use of postcards as tools of propaganda and projections of politcal ideology. XXX ABOUT THE AUTHORMiliswa ka Lindelwa (b.1993) is a South African architect-scenographer whose practice treats the built environment as a living archive to be performed, dismantled, and re-imagined. She holds a Master's degree from the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Johannesburg, where she also worked as a Research Assistant. Her work has been exhibited at FADA Gallery and featured in ARTAFRICA Magazine. She is a recipient of the Prince Claus Seed Award (2024) and the founder of the On Their Dreams annual.
