POSTSPostcard Series: The Paul Kruger Museum Collection
In response to a breif during my master’s thesis at the Graduate School of Architecture, I produced a broadcast for the site of my study, Clifton 4th Beach in Cape Town. The broadcast was was a postcard depicting a sanitized version of Clifton 4th Beach, while revealing the socio-politcal conditions of the site in the written message on the back of the postcard. Through my research, I became interested in the historical use of postcards as tools of politcal propaganda. In this series I analyse postcards in my collection.
